A 3-bedroomed stone cottage in a beautiful corner of Northumberland.
Home
The Forge is a three-bedroomed, dog-friendly, stone holiday cottage in Northumberland with a wood-burning stove for chilly evenings and a garden for sunny days. Nestled in Coquetdale, at the foot of the Cheviot hills, our cottage is the perfect base for exploring the castles, coast and countryside of England’s wildest and emptiest county.
The Forge is situated in a small group of similar properties, all of which were converted in 2009 from a farm that was build around 1850 by Lord Armstrong as part of his Cragside Estate.
We stay at our cottage often and have tried to think of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Whether it’s the luxury toiletries, the hotel-quality bedding or the well-stocked kitchen, we hope that you leave the Forge relaxed and refreshed, whether you’re staying for a weekend or a week!
